Sculpted Birch Ply Table

This was a spin off from a larger table. Stacking layers of birch ply then sculpting a curved shape reveals a fantastic view of the ply laminations. The technique is more sculptural than I normally do but was really enjoyable to make. The top section has a turned bowl (again, just to show off the layers) with a toughened glass top.
